Enticing and vibrant on the nose, this Dry White Blend of Vermentino, Verdelho, Muscat and Pinot Noir. This White Blend has great mouth appeal with nuances of florals and apricot. Wonderful structure and appeal across the palate, this blend has an unusual combination of richness and acidity, with flavors of green apple, preserved lemon and grapefruit that develop nuttiness with age.. Round in the mouth this blend provides notes of honey and pear fruit. Showing rose petal, honeysuckle, and nutty aromatics through the palate. Building this blend with a goal of a rich mouth feel, moderate acidity, and aromatics allows the Blend the ability to pair well with rich style food. Muscat has existed for centuries and is one of the oldest known grapes to man. Noted for strong, fresh-fruity flavors, this Muscat is responsible and guilty of a lovely, fruity southern Rhône style personality. The basis for this opulent, fragrant, perfumey, rich wine is Native Fermentation which shows traditional characteristics of centuries old style of Muscat.
This Dry Rose’ is Carignane (107 year old vines) based, with Grenache. The Carignane vineyard was planted in 1907 and give this Rose’ a Strawberry, Stone Peach with hints of Red Ruby Grapefruit. Well balanced and round through the palate this Rose’ pairs well with food and is the perfect companion on a summer afternoon. Native fermentation and produced in stainless steel. Beautiful aromas of red fruits, licorice and black pepper, flavores of cherry and spice that lends a welcome sense of delicacy. The wine is quite dry but flavorful along the spiced and macerated red and black berry and plum range, and it’s powered by vibrant acidity for propulsive energy. Tannins, on the other hand, feeling carved from dusty underbrush, briers and brambles, are tranquil, deeply set and inexorable. 100 percent Grenache aged in neutral oak with native fermentation. LODI NATIVE is a collaborative project by winemakers of like mind, living and working in the historic Lodi American Viticultural Area. Their mission: to turn the spotlight on the region’s heritage plantings – minimalist winemaking practices, beginning with native yeast fermentation and use of no new oak. The focus is on Zinfandel, but on the taste of vineyards rather than varietal character or brand.
An elegant vintage of Zinfandel form The Estate Vineyard “Lot 13” planted in 1915. This Estate grown Zinfandel is exhilarating showing you characteristics of Red and Black fruit. On the front Raspberry, Red Cherry come across the palate. Once this Zinfandel has moved to the back of your palate a show of Black Berry, Dark Plum and Date start to explode, all the time wrap with a rich Blueberry nose, Dry Sandalwood, soft Vanilla-edged Cherry/Huckleberry, bolstered by fine, tight-knit tannins. A fruit forward nose, with Cola, Tabaco and Dry Sandalwood. Through the palate this Zinfandel shows, Black Cherry, Raspberry, Hazelnut and finishes with soft tannins. This Zinfandel is balanced through the palate with just the right amount of acidity. Great time and effort was spent to produce a Zinfandel with complexity, mouth appeal and a finish that lingers. Fruit forward with Black Berry, Raspberry and hints of Coco. TruLux is balanced through the palate and is a true representation of the Westside of Lodi’s AVA. Showing spice and earthiness this wine is round through the palate and full of fruit. Many different layers give this Zinfandel complexity with just the right amount of acid.
